August Meeting – August 10, 2004

6:36 – Prez gaveled meeting to order.

We had new members.

Introductions

We had introductions and said what we were bringing to the show.

The secretary’s minutes were rejected unanimously due to an error in the location of the Third Thursday on the 19th. Okay one mistake.

Treasurer’s report. We have not got the deposit back from the Park Board yet. We have money left and it passes unanimously.

The Club is invited to 3rd Thursday Downtown in FARGO on 19 August from 6:00 – 8:30. We will go.

Old Business

Craig went to the Warroad, MN. Car Show. It had 56 cars with 15 from Winnipeg.

Todd and Dave went to the Fergus Falls Show. Pretty good show and swap meet. Close to 180 cars.

Jon brought flyers and info on Barnesville Potato Days Car Show and Swap Meet. It will be Aug. 28^th from 10:00 til 4:00.

Todd said he got a Thank You from the Bakkes family for our consideration of their wedding.

Tim said Ken was pleased with the show. The DQ was pleased with the cruise.

Brenda had nothing to add, except we got on the radio and a donation from the Forum.

Craig just said thanks for the help.

All Ford Car Show

Show up at 8:00 to set up. 7:00 at Country Kitchen for Breakfast(if you can get up that early).

Grilling Food – Hot dogs and Brats (Johnsonville meats will donate thanks to Dean)

Tom will check on buns and chips.

Tom will check on pop and ice.

Todd, Craig and Dennis will bring coolers.

Todd will bring garbage cans.

Todd will bring caution tape.

(not good to have a first name that starts with a T)

Secretary reprimanded for talking.

Todd assigns tasks for show.

Prez gavels meeting back from the edge of chaos to talk scrap booking. Looking for volunteer.

Tom asks if we want a sound system. Maybe.
