September Meeting – September 14, 2004

Meeting gaveled to order at 6:43.

Chaos continues.

Prez yelled and it got quiet.

Secretary’s Report. Elton moves to approve error free, Greg 2nds and it passes unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report. We have money. We have not been reimbursed by Luther Family Ford as of yet. We must get the receipts to them.

Motion to appoint a Finance Committee from Craig to decide how to use our money. Elton 2nds and it passes unanimously.

A discussion ensues as to the needs of the club. Items included a banner, equipment for member checkout, and a donation to a charity.

Craig offers a friendly amendment to his previous motion to have the officers make the decision. Passes by unanimous consent. Elton was left out as it was thought he did not want to go to another meeting. (He likes it when we talk about him as if he isn’t there.)

Craig gave a report on his online scrapbook project. He has interviewed about 10 members and is working on more.

Tom gave a report on his physical scrapbook project. He is in denial, but looking for more stuff, so bring it to the next meeting.

Towels are still for sale.

El Presidentay is looking to put together an order for club jackets. He needs at least 3. If you are interested, let him know by 1 October.

Nominations are next month. Let the games begin, set the pigeons free. Campaign at will.

Tim and Craig have bought a building and will host next months meeting. Food will be provided by the club.

Next years calendar, get your pictures to Todd.

The mid month color run will be 25 September. Call Ralph if you are going and did not sign up.

Last thing (according to Todd) run to Woody’s after meeting.

Craig had one last thing. 1-3 October, Jason Gere is looking for Mustangs and Mustang memorabilia for a show.

Thanks to Craig and Tim, not Elton for helping at the Barnsville car show.

The Christmas party will be 14 December. Larry will make arrangements.
