Hi Guys!! We had a great time as usual on our color run/picnic/dream shop tour. Sometimes it's nice to see a dream come true. The colors could have been better, but who would have thought the leaves wouldn't have turned by the end of September. Thanks to Dave and Helen for letting us visit and have a picnic inside the shop. A non-executive decision was made to donate to the 61 for 61 Maris fund. On the way back we cruised to the donation point and made a donation. I think showing up as a group was good and stirred some interest. The radio person from "The Fox" ran over and shoved a mike in my face and asked what year of Mustang I was driving! He then proceeded down the line of cars. We are at that time of year where there are not too many nice days left. The cars get put away and the chances of nice days for a fall barbeque are few. So at the color run we talked about having the next meeting at the Shed in Sabin. Same game plan as always....the club provides the grill, the place, some fluids (liquid refreshment) and maybe some beans or veggies. You bring your choice of meat, plate & eating utensils and a chair. So see you at the shed at 6:00. If you need directions, give me a call at 282-0387 (leave a message if I'm not home and I'll call you back). This time there should be fewer mosquitoes than the picnic at Lindenwood. In fact, you may want to bring a heavy jacket as it could get cool once the sun goes down. You know, it occurred to me that elections are next month. So that means w need to look at nominations at this meeting! If you are interested, now is the time to toss your name in the hat for an office you want versus an office you are pushed into. We also need to set up the December Christmas party, including setting up an amount for door prizes and other things. So this is a very important meeting. See you at the shed!! Elton
