Hi Guys!! Car Show...Car Show...Car Show...Is that all there is? Well, for this month, YES! We have been getting some pre-registrations. I think some people are holding off because they are unsure of the weather and I don't blame them. We sent out fliers and applications to those who had been at our car show the last two years and all members who have not pre-registered. We hoped to get some response and we are hoping for more between now and the show. So now we need to decide what the special drawing will be!! There are worse things that could be a problem. This meeting we will be putting trophies in groups and making sure we have all the trophies. We could put the labels on some or all but the special ones. This would speed things up the day of the car show. If anyone has anything they want decided or ideas to make the car show better, come to this meeting. We need input on several items and the more people, the more ideas (we hope). The reason I wrote the article for this month's newsletter was that when I went on the internet, I found that the oldest car that they listed for tires was an '83 and you couldn't input the tire size..it didn't recognize it. So I thought a little discussion of tire size might be good. I think almost everyone agrees that radials are the way to go. But for concourse cars where bias tires are required...well those are in a whole different class. Most importantly, they don't get driven. This means they don't have comfort, handling or wear problems. Let's face it, tires have improved. When I got my Mustang, if I got 20,000 miles out of a tire I thought that was great. Now, if we don't get 60,000 miles on a tire, something is wrong. See you at the meeting Elton
