Hey Ford Enthusiasts! Well, school is winding down, only a week left. Then its vacation. It's going to be a busy summer. Heidi is graduating from NDSU and leaves for a job in Iowa. Then the wedding plans. Lots of things going on and so little time for fun!! We had a good turnout at the Pizza Night at Happy Joe's. Lots of pizza and a good time. I was looking through some old magazines and found an article about speed traps and lo and behold they listed Crosby, ND as a speed trap!! Wow, a national magazine recognizing a small ND town. This was back in 1953!! I thought the article about futuristic cars, especially Ford cars to be interesting. Its fun to look at what people thought we would be driving. One wonders what became of some of the ideas. Then you have to wonder if the designers still had jobs a year or two later. The steak fry was set for May 22 because the chief cook can make it that night. Everything is the same as usual, bring your meat of choice, plate, silverware, beverage and chair oh and your CAR. The club provides the grille, some tables, usually beans, potatoes, and a veggie platter. It's a good time to get together and talk cars. Lots of fun, It's at the shed in Sabin. I got a call from a group that started a Model A or early Ford club. They were looking for information about our car show. So we could have a group of early Fords at the show. I will give them a call and find out how many are coming. Maybe we could have plaques or some3thing made up for Best T and Best A. We'll have to talk about it. I received a call from Ford. It seems they are touring with a "truck load" of T-Birds adn Mustangs and will be in Fargo the July 2-3. I don't have any more info now but plan to find out more before the meeting. See everyone at the meeting. Elton
