February Meeting - February 13, 2001
We met at Valley Ford
Bruce sat at the head of the table and we talked.
The Prez arrived at 6:39 and gaveled the meeting to order.
Greg weenied out on us in favor of his family and the "arts".
Old Business
The checks came rolling in. (After Threats)
Ralph talked about changing his spark plugs and brought an example. No electrode left and the car (not his) was still running.
New Business
Prez says we should get the car show posters to the Toppers Car Show.
He also wanted to know if we should have a booth at the Toppers Car Show. Tim D. volunteered to be the Point of Contact for anyone interested in having their car in our booth.
Craig volunteered to track down Jim Merrill and see if he has our banner, if not he will buy one for $200 or less. Craig moved, Todd Seconded and it was unanimous.
Pay your dues!!!!!
Will we have a booth at the swap meet on Sat. Feb. 24? No, by unanimous consent.
Meeting degraded to chaos, Talk about Jim Merrill.
Greg arrived at 6:52 wearing a dead animal on his head.
Prez asked if we should change our car show poster art. Meeting broke down to multiple conversations about car show.
Discussion of possible new classes, including unrestored original.
Should we run a shuttle to West Acres during the show for people trapped because their car is in the show. Someone will check on a van from Valley Ford.
The Prez will try to get same D.J. as last year.
Street Fair, arts and crafts, city politics, blah, blah, blah.
Greg said we could grill, Bruce said Valley Ford wanted a professional.
Much talk on artwork for poster. We will have artwork.
Mark motioned we adjourn, Elton 2nds and it passed unanimously.
